When the CIA needs recruits to carry out dangerous spy missions their polished agents would rather not do themselves, the hoodlum turned inmate is found languishing in the Miami-Dade County Jail awaiting trial. Street-smart, confident to the point of being cocky, and extremely intelligent, he is sprung out of jail to be sent on top secret missions dating from the Bay of Pigs through the Fall of Saigon all while blatantly building a drug and crime empire from Florida to New York.
